Quantity Solutions Inc. (QSI), one of the country’s leading construction estimating firms, recently concluded the 7th Cost Engineering Academy last September 11-12, 2017 at the Asian Institute of Management in Makati City.
The annual seminar aims to educate engineers, project managers, developers and other construction industry professionals on the latest trends in construction cost, project biddings, digital estimating and the like. The resource speaker for the 2-day seminar was Engr. Rynor G. Jamandre, a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a top-notch civil engineer who placed 9th in the 1998 Civil Engineering Licensure Exams. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, he established Quantity Solutions and has completed projects for D.M. Consunji, Ayala Land and even the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
“The infrastructure in the Philippines is booming, and we would like to make sure that it’s done right”, Engr. Jamandre said in a statement. The seminar was well attended by engineers from construction industry leaders such as EEI Corporation, LBL Prime Properties, Jollibee Corporation, Keyland, Millenium Erectors and Design Initiative Philippines.
For 2018, QSI plans to add more topics for the 8th installment of the training seminar. It has always been a thrust of the company to educate construction industry colleagues and deliver better infrastructure for the Philippines.
